Family Medicine for America’s Health, a partnership of the eight leading family medicine organizations in the United States, traveled to Michigan today to make its fifth national city tour stop showcasing primary care innovations taking place across the country. The event brought together Michigan health care leaders to share local success stories of primary care delivering on the Triple Aim of better health and better quality at a lower cost.
Health is Primary, a national campaign sponsored by Family Medicine for America’s Health, hosted a panel discussion in Colorado today highlighting innovations in primary care delivery across the state. The Denver event was the fourth stop on a national tour showcasing the rapidly changing health care environment in the United States.
Family Medicine for America’s Health today released goals for transforming the nation’s primary care system. These goals reflect a vision and approach to modernize family medicine and primary care that were outlined in a September special edition of Family Medicine, the official journal of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
